Bac Ninh Province is moving forward with province-wide deployment of an AI-powered application designed to simplify administrative procedures for residents and businesses. The software uses optical character recognition and machine learning to scan documents, extract information, and automatically populate application forms while verifying completeness.
The province conducted pilot testing across six wards—Song Lieu, Nam Son, Phuong Lieu, Hiep Hoa, Bac Giang, and Vu Ninh—to evaluate the system's effectiveness before broader rollout. Early results demonstrated the application's capacity to reduce processing times and minimize errors in administrative submissions.
The expansion aligns with Bac Ninh's broader digitalization strategy aimed at enhancing business operations and service delivery. Officials have emphasized the tool's potential to streamline customs clearance procedures, support private enterprise growth, and accelerate the province's shift toward cashless transactions in an increasingly digital economy.
Full-scale implementation is expected to improve operational efficiency across government departments while reducing administrative friction for citizens engaging with provincial services.
