Bacolod police bust illegal diesel operation, arrest suspect
Authorities in Bacolod City have seized approximately 1,420 liters of illegally traded diesel fuel valued at P120,700 following a controlled buy-bust operation. A 56-year-old man identified by the alias "Panoy" was arrested during the Tuesday afternoon operation.

Police conducted the operation in Purok Nami-Nami, Barangay Banago on Tuesday afternoon, November 3, resulting in the confiscation of the fuel shipment. The suspect, a resident of the same barangay, was taken into custody at the scene.
The illegal fuel seizure is part of ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat black market petroleum trading in the region. Authorities have intensified operations targeting unauthorized fuel distribution networks that operate outside official channels.
The suspect faces charges related to the illegal trade of petroleum products. The seized fuel has been turned over to appropriate authorities for disposition in accordance with existing regulations governing contraband materials.
