Bahnar preschoolers gain dedicated classrooms in central Vietnam

Children at a preschool in Ayun Commune, Gia Lai Province, have begun classes in two newly completed classrooms, ending months of instruction held in a shared gymnasium space. The facility previously served the educational needs of approximately 70 preschool-age students from the local Bahnar ethnic group.

The construction of the dedicated classrooms addresses long-standing space constraints that limited the quality of early childhood education in the commune. Overcrowded conditions in the gymnasium had presented challenges for both instructors and students seeking to establish a proper learning environment.

The project reflects ongoing efforts to improve educational infrastructure in Vietnam's central highlands, where many ethnic minority communities face resource limitations. Access to quality preschool education remains a priority for development initiatives targeting rural and mountainous regions.

The completion of the facility is expected to enhance teaching conditions and provide a more structured learning space for preschool activities in Ayun Commune. Education officials have indicated that the new classrooms will allow for better classroom management and more effective instruction for the young Bahnar students.
