Baloch separatist group unveils all-female military unit, claims Pakistan army casualties

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has announced the formation of an all-female military unit called the Kareema Armed Assault Division (KAAD), releasing video footage to publicize the new fighting force. The separatist group, which has waged a decades-long insurgency in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, claims the newly unveiled unit has already seen combat action. According to the BLF, KAAD conducted two separate operations against Pakistani military targets, resulting in nine soldiers killed and several others wounded. The release of the video marks an escalation in the group's military operations and represents a shift in recruitment and mobilization strategies for the separatist organization. The BLF has intensified its activities in recent years, carrying out attacks on military installations, infrastructure projects, and security forces across Balochistan province.
