Bangladesh batting coach Tanzid Hasan has urged the national team's batsmen to assume more accountability for their performances on the field, emphasising that players must take ownership of both successes and failures.
Speaking about the team's approach going forward, Tanzid stressed the importance of batsmen understanding their roles and responsibilities within the squad's overall strategy. The coach highlighted that consistent improvement would only come through players taking personal responsibility for their preparation and execution during matches.
The call for greater accountability comes as Bangladesh continues to work on stabilizing its batting lineup across all formats of the game. Tanzid's message appears aimed at fostering a culture where players internalize the need for discipline and focus rather than relying solely on coaching staff guidance.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board's coaching staff has been implementing various measures to strengthen the team's technical and mental approach to batting. Tanzid's statement underscores management's belief that player-driven accountability will be crucial to achieving the team's performance targets in upcoming international fixtures.
