Bangladesh releases HSC exam results; introduces new SMS lookup system

The Higher Secondary Certificate examination results have been released, allowing hundreds of thousands of students to check their performance across the country. Candidates can retrieve their results through the established online platforms as well as via the newly introduced SMS number, which provides an additional avenue for result verification.

The SMS service represents an effort to broaden access to results, particularly benefiting students in areas with limited internet connectivity. By sending a message to the designated number with their registration details, candidates can receive their results within moments, reducing dependence on digital platforms during peak traffic periods.

Education authorities have advised students to keep their registration numbers and other required identification details readily available when checking results through either method. The simultaneous availability of multiple verification channels is expected to ease congestion on official websites and ensure smoother result collection for the majority of test-takers.

As students begin reviewing their performance, educational institutions are preparing to assist those seeking guidance on next steps, including college admissions and career counseling services. The HSC examination serves as a critical milestone for secondary-level students pursuing higher education in Bangladesh.
