Banned AL activists stage Gulshan protest; cocktails thrown, arrests made

Activists affiliated with the Awami League conducted a flash procession in Gulshan despite the ongoing ban on the party's organizational activities. The demonstration, which appeared to be unannounced, drew a number of supporters who moved through the neighborhood in what witnesses described as a show of solidarity.
The situation escalated when some participants began throwing cocktails during the procession. Police units deployed to the area responded swiftly to the disturbance, moving in to disperse the gathering and secure the scene.
