Barrett, Jordan doubtful for New Zealand's Wales encounter

The All Blacks suffered a blow to their squad depth following their Murrayfield encounter, with both Barrett and Jordan requiring assessment before the team's commitment to face Wales in the coming weekend's Nations Championship encounter.

The injuries sustained by the pair during the Scotland clash have cast uncertainty over their availability for selection, forcing the New Zealand rugby hierarchy to monitor their recovery in the days ahead.

Barrett, who operates as fullback for the All Blacks, and Jordan, the team's wing, are integral components of the New Zealand backline and their absence would necessitate tactical adjustments to the squad.

The timing of the injuries comes as New Zealand prepares for a crucial fixture in its Nations Championship campaign, with the team seeking to maintain momentum in the competition.

Further updates on the players' fitness levels are expected as medical staff conduct detailed assessments throughout the week.
