Bay of Bengal depression to bring rain across Telangana on Saturday

A low-pressure system developing over the Bay of Bengal is set to influence weather patterns across Telangana this weekend, bringing much-needed rain to various parts of the state. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall activity on November 2, with nine districts expected to witness heavy precipitation.

According to S. Stella, Head of the IMD Centre in Hyderabad, the depression will lose considerable intensity by the time it reaches Telangana, limiting the severity of weather conditions. Despite the weakening of the system, significant rainfall is still anticipated across the identified districts.

The weather development comes as the monsoon season transitions and moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal influence regional atmospheric conditions. Residents and officials in the affected districts have been advised to remain prepared for the anticipated rainfall.

The Indian Meteorological Department continues to monitor the system closely and is expected to issue regular updates on its movement and intensity. Farmers and civic authorities are being kept informed of the developing weather situation to enable appropriate preparatory measures.
