Ethereal Exploration Guild, a privately-held aerospace manufacturer based in Bengaluru, has commissioned a substantial rocket testing facility spanning 150 acres in proximity to Sriharikota, the primary launch site of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Andhra Pradesh.
The new facility represents a significant infrastructure investment by the company as it advances its proprietary launch vehicle programme. The testing complex will provide dedicated capabilities for ground-based verification and validation of rocket systems ahead of flight operations.
The company is developing a fully reusable medium-lift launch vehicle designed to service India's growing commercial satellite launch market. The proximity to Sriharikota positions The Guild to leverage existing space infrastructure and regulatory frameworks governing launch operations in India.
The establishment of private rocket testing facilities reflects expanding commercial interest in India's space sector, which has liberalised launch services through the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe). Multiple domestic aerospace companies are advancing indigenous launch vehicle programmes to capture international and domestic market demand.
