Bengaluru startup partners with Israeli firm to establish proton therapy network
A Bengaluru-based healthcare company has joined forces with Israel's P-Cure to develop a chain of compact proton therapy centres across India. The collaboration will involve an investment of ₹1,900 crore to build specialized treatment infrastructure.

The partnership aims to establish a network of advanced proton therapy facilities, marking a significant expansion of cancer treatment capabilities in the country. The first centre will be developed at Sentient Health City in Jakkur, Bengaluru, featuring a 660-bed quaternary care campus built around integrated artificial intelligence and augmented care solutions.
Proton therapy represents an advanced form of radiation treatment that delivers targeted doses to tumours with minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissue. By leveraging Israeli expertise in compact proton therapy technology, the joint venture seeks to make this specialized treatment more accessible across India.
