Berlin drops bid to host Summer Olympics, narrows German contenders
Germany's capital has withdrawn from the race to host the Summer Olympics in 2036, 2040 or 2044, leaving Munich and the Rhine/Ruhr region as the country's remaining candidates for the international sporting event.
