Bersama pushes for independent review of Malaysia's education blueprint

Bersama has urged the establishment of an independent review panel to assess Malaysia's education policies, arguing that objective evaluation is necessary to determine whether current initiatives are meeting their objectives.

The coalition specifically targeted the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013–2025, which was designed to position Malaysia among the top third of countries in international education assessments. The blueprint has served as the government's principal framework for education reform over the past decade, guiding investments and policy decisions across the sector.

Bersama contends that an independent assessment would provide clarity on the blueprint's effectiveness and identify areas requiring adjustment or improvement. Such a review, the coalition argued, would offer stakeholders and policymakers evidence-based insights into education outcomes and programme performance.
