KUALA TERENGGANU — Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has been called upon to provide a detailed explanation on its intention to utilise the Perikatan Nasional logo during the Melaka state election campaign, according to statements from senior party figures. The demand for clarification underscores internal discussions within the coalition regarding electoral strategy and symbol usage for the upcoming polls. Ahmad Samsuri, addressing the matter at a gathering in Kuala Terengganu on October 28, stressed the importance of transparency in communicating such decisions to party members and coalition partners. The use of coalition logos in state-level elections requires careful coordination among partner parties and must align with existing agreements and constitutional provisions governing electoral conduct. Bersatu's leadership is expected to address these concerns formally as the party moves forward with its campaign preparations for the Melaka election.
