Pune-based engineering firm Bharat Forge has secured a multi-year contract to supply mission-critical aerospace engine components to Canadian aero-engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney Canada, with production centred at its domestic aerospace facility.

Bharat Forge Ltd announced on Monday that it has won a long-term supply agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada for the provision of specialised aerospace engine components. The contract represents a significant boost for India's aerospace manufacturing capabilities, with all components to be manufactured at Bharat Forge's aerospace facility located in India.

Amit Kalyani, Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Bharat Forge, said the company was committed to supporting Pratt & Whitney Canada's programmes while advancing India's standing in the global aerospace sector. The deal underscores growing international confidence in Indian manufacturing capabilities for high-precision, safety-critical applications.

The aerospace contract adds to the company's portfolio of contracts with leading international manufacturers in safety-critical applications.
