Biman Bangladesh suspends Saudi Arabia flights temporarily

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended its flight operations to Dammam for three days as part of scheduled service adjustments, the airline announced. The suspension affects the carrier's regular operations to the eastern Saudi Arabian city, a key destination for Bangladeshi expatriates and business travellers.

More significantly, Biman has extended the suspension of its Riyadh route, the capital of Saudi Arabia, until October 31. Riyadh serves as a major hub for connections across the Middle East and remains one of the airline's important international destinations.

The suspensions come at a time when travel demand to the Gulf region remains high due to seasonal employment patterns and business activities. Passengers holding bookings on affected routes are expected to face rescheduling or alternative travel arrangements through the airline.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the country's flag carrier, operates multiple international routes connecting Bangladesh to key destinations across the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The temporary service adjustments are part of the airline's operational planning and fleet management strategies.
