TACLOBAN CITY — A female third-year student at Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) in Naval was taken into custody Monday morning after making threatening remarks toward one of her instructors, triggering an immediate response from campus officials and law enforcement.
The incident was reported to authorities at approximately 10 a.m., according to school administrators. The student was subsequently brought to the university's guidance office for questioning while police investigated the nature and credibility of the threat.
School officials worked in coordination with police to contain the situation. A search of the student failed to reveal any weapon or firearm in her possession, allaying initial safety concerns on campus.
The student was turned over to the guidance office for further assessment and appropriate action.
