BJP alleges AAP Punjab govt. misrepresenting Centre's rural scheme

The BJP has leveled charges against the AAP administration in Punjab, alleging that the state government is presenting a Central government scheme as its own accomplishment. Former state BJP president Sunil Jakhar claimed that the PM Adarsh Gram Yojana is entirely funded by the Union government, with New Delhi bearing all costs associated with the initiative.

Jakhar asserted that despite the scheme being a 100 percent centrally-funded programme, the AAP regime in Punjab has been attempting to take credit for its implementation.
