BJP alleges Kerala officials colluded in CMRL fraud case

The allegations emerged as party leader Shone George released what he described as a list of alleged payoffs, drawn from documents submitted by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office to the court. The list reportedly contains the name of Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan among other officials. The BJP asserted that the parallel actions of both fronts suggest an understanding to shield key players from accountability, characterizing the situation as a "fixed match" designed to protect political interests.

The CMRL case, which has dominated Kerala's political discourse, involves allegations of financial irregularities at the Cochin Refineries and other institutions.
