BJP appoints Smriti Irani as in-charge for Haryana, Chhattisgarh

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its latest roster of state coordinators and co-coordinators, reflecting significant organisational restructuring across key states. Senior party leader Smriti Irani has been assigned responsibility for Haryana and Chhattisgarh, two states where the party maintains significant political presence.

In parallel assignments, Sunil Bansal has been entrusted with coordination duties for West Bengal and Telangana, two states with varying levels of BJP electoral strength. The party has also formally approved Vinod Tawde's continued oversight of Uttar Pradesh, consolidating his role in India's most populous state.
