BJP charts aggressive campaign for Uttar Pradesh 2027 election sweep

The BJP has prepared an extensive campaign framework for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, aiming to secure a third consecutive victory in the state. The party plans to launch its electoral offensive after Diwali, with Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah taking central roles in directing the party's push across 18 administrative divisions.

Under the party's strategy, Modi is expected to address multiple large-scale rallies across the state. Alongside the high-visibility campaign events, the BJP plans to implement what officials describe as a detailed micromanagement approach at the grassroots level.

The ground-level strategy involves targeting groups of 50 families at individual polling booths, with party workers tasked with direct voter engagement and constituency-level coordination. This dual approach combines mass rallies featuring top national leadership with meticulous door-to-door and community-level contact efforts designed to maximize the party's organizational reach.

The BJP currently governs Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state. The 2027 elections will be the third state assembly elections held since the party came to power in 2017, with the party having won subsequent elections in 2022.
