The BJP's national leadership on Saturday levelled serious allegations against opposition parties, accusing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal of working to destabilise the nation. BJP president Nitin Nabin told reporters that both leaders are orchestrating efforts to undermine India's progress and institutional stability.
Nabin claimed that opposition groups are attempting to foment civil unrest because they are unable to accept India's development trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration. "An attempt is being made to create anarchy in the country," he stated, adding that coordinated efforts are underway to destabilise the nation and its 1.4 billion citizens.
The BJP chief identified two opposition coalitions as the source of these alleged destabilisation efforts: one led by Gandhi under the INDIA Alliance banner, and another led by Kejriwal. Nabin contended that both groups are competing to demonstrate their capacity to challenge the government's authority.
The BJP president asserted that his party would respond with firmness to counter what he characterised as foreign-backed attempts to undermine national stability. He expressed confidence that party workers would effectively counter opposition designs at the grassroots level across the country.
