BJP Chief Donates Three Months' Salary to Bihar Flood Relief

Nitin Nabin, National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has pledged three months of his Rajya Sabha salary to assist flood-affected communities in Bihar, underscoring the scale of the natural disaster gripping the eastern state.

The donation to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund reflects growing efforts to mobilize resources for those impacted by the inundation. State authorities have already initiated a substantial relief operation, with the government distributing ₹550 crore in direct financial assistance to affected families.

As part of its immediate response, the state government has transferred ₹7,000 to each family impacted by the flooding, according to Nabin's statement. This direct cash transfer represents the government's strategy to provide swift economic relief to households facing losses from the disaster.
