BJP Names Neeraj Singh District Chief in Rahul Gandhi's Raibareli Stronghold

The BJP has tasked Neeraj Singh with strengthening the party's organizational structure in Raibareli district, home to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha seat. Singh, who serves as vice-president of the BJP's Uttar Pradesh unit and is the son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, takes on the new responsibility as the saffron party seeks to consolidate its position in the traditionally opposition-held constituency.

The appointment represents the BJP's sustained effort to expand its footprint in constituencies held by rival parties across Uttar Pradesh. Raibareli has long been considered a Congress bastion, with the Gandhi family maintaining a strong presence in the region for decades.
