BJP questions motives behind CJP protests, alleges AAP involvement

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad held a press conference at the party headquarters to address the ongoing CJP protests, asserting that anti-government forces were leveraging the demonstrations for political gain. While stopping short of blanket opposition to the right to protest, Prasad suggested that the agitation bore the fingerprints of the AAP, which he accused of using the movement to embarrass the government.

The BJP leader's remarks come as the junior doctors' union has escalated its agitation over pending demands related to working conditions and compensation. Prasad claimed the timing and coordination of the protests indicated involvement by opposition parties seeking to destabilize the administration.

The party statement did not provide specific evidence to support the allegations but maintained that legitimate grievances could be addressed through dialogue rather than sustained street action. BJP officials argued that orchestrated protests undermined the credibility of genuine workplace concerns and called for the CJP to engage with authorities through formal channels.

The Aam Aadmi Party has not yet responded to the BJP's accusations. The CJP, meanwhile, has indicated its intention to continue mobilization until its demands are met.
