The five elections comprised contests in West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry.
In West Bengal specifically, the BJP allocated ₹217.16 crore toward general campaigning activities and ₹69.83 crore directly supporting candidates, according to the filed expenditure statements. This substantial investment in the state reflected the party's strategic focus on expanding its footprint in eastern India.
