BJP to mark Lal Krishna Advani's 99th birthday with special celebration

The BJP has lined up a special celebration for veteran party leader Lal Krishna Advani, who will turn 99 on Sunday. Sources familiar with the arrangements confirmed that the party is organizing the event to mark the milestone birthday of its most senior leader.

Advani, a towering figure in Indian politics, served as Deputy Prime Minister and held several key ministerial portfolios during his career. He remained one of the BJP's most influential voices during the party's formative decades and continues to hold an iconic status within its organizational hierarchy.

The planned celebration underscores the BJP's respect for Advani's long political legacy and his contributions to the party's growth over several decades. The event comes as the BJP remains focused on its organizational work across states ahead of upcoming electoral cycles.

Advani's 99 years span some of the most significant periods in independent India's political history, during which he played a consequential role in shaping both national politics and his party's ideological trajectory.
