Nitesh Rane, a prominent BJP politician, alleged on Saturday that Bangladesh nationals and Rohingya refugees illegally cast votes during the recent Lok Sabha elections, contributing to the party's electoral performance falling short of expectations.
Rane claimed that had the BJP exercised greater control over the election management process, the party would have crossed the 400-seat mark in the general elections. He did not provide specific evidence to support his allegations regarding foreign nationals voting.
