BJP Youth Leader Dies After Electric Shock at Bhopal Shopping Mall
A district secretary of the BJP Youth Wing was electrocuted Sunday evening while crossing a road near a shopping mall in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. His wife sustained injuries in the incident but survived.

Divyarishi Tiwari, district secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), died after coming into contact with an electrically charged pole outside DB Mall in the MP Nagar area of Bhopal on Sunday night. He was visiting the shopping mall with his family when the incident occurred.
According to initial reports, Tiwari was attempting to cross the street when he grabbed the metal pole for support. The pole, which had become live with electrical current, caused him to collapse immediately. His wife, who was nearby, also came into contact with the charged pole but managed to break free from it.
Local police arrived at the scene and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before rushing Tiwari to a nearby hospital. Medical personnel declared him dead upon arrival. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the electrical fault. The incident has raised concerns about inadequate safety measures and maintenance of public infrastructure in the area.
