BKE traffic to be diverted for two hours on October 21

Highway users travelling on the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) have been advised to expect traffic diversions between KM16.7 and KM17.7 on October 21, beginning at 10.30am. The diversion will remain in effect for approximately two hours, requiring motorists to use alternative routes during the affected period.

The temporary traffic management measure will impact both directions of the expressway across the 1-kilometre section. Authorities have urged drivers to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel during the diversion window.

Motorists are advised to stay alert for road signs and follow the guidance of traffic personnel on duty. The diversion is expected to conclude by 12.30pm, after which normal traffic flow should resume on the expressway.
