BMC Demolishes Unauthorised Structures at Actor Ajay Devgn's Mumbai Property

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has demolished unauthorised portions of a residential property in Juhu, one of Mumbai's most expensive neighbourhoods, that is connected to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn. According to civic officials, the action was taken following discovery of illegal structural modifications at the bungalow.

The property in question has reportedly been leased to a salon and beauty services company operating from the premises. BMC officials conducted an inspection after receiving complaints regarding unauthorised construction work that violated municipal building regulations and zoning norms applicable to the residential area.

The demolition drive targeted structures that had been added without proper municipal approvals or architectural clearance. Such enforcement actions are routine in Mumbai, where the BMC regularly acts against unauthorised construction across residential and commercial properties citywide.

The Juhu locality, home to numerous film industry personalities and high-net-worth individuals, frequently comes under scrutiny for building violations. Authorities have intensified crackdowns on unauthorised constructions in premium residential zones to ensure compliance with development rules and maintain the area's civic standards.
