Imagine Marketing Limited's boAt division has demonstrated a significant turnaround in its financial performance, posting a 38 per cent increase in profit after tax during the fiscal year ended March 2026. The company recorded a PAT of ₹84.5 crore against ₹61.1 crore in FY25, while revenue from operations reached ₹2,931 crore.
A notable highlight has been the reversal of fortunes in the wearables segment, traditionally a challenge area for the consumer electronics manufacturer. The division swung to a profit of approximately ₹7 crore in FY26, a dramatic improvement from a loss position of ₹54 crore recorded in the preceding fiscal year.
The company's financial position has also strengthened considerably. boAt closed FY26 with cash reserves of approximately ₹397 crore while maintaining zero bank debt, according to management disclosures. The improved balance sheet reflects improved operational discipline and cost management across the organisation.
Management indicated that the company is now transitioning from turnaround operations to a growth-oriented strategy. The company attributed its performance to strengthening foundational aspects while managing external headwinds, with emerging categories beginning to contribute meaningfully to both growth and profitability metrics.
