Body of Jan Suraj party official found days after train disappearance

The body of Devpaalik Gupta, digital media manager for the Jan Suraj party, was discovered Tuesday in scrubland near Barwadaag in Ranchi district's Angarha police station area. Gupta had vanished Monday while traveling on the Janshatabdi Express en route from Ranchi to Patna. Preliminary examination by police revealed multiple head injuries on the deceased, raising suspicion of criminal assault.
