The body of James Patrick Taborlupa, 30, a former staff nurse at Jecsons Medical Center in Tarlac City, was recovered in Barangay Carael at Dagupan City in Pangasinan on Monday. Fishermen assisted in retrieving the remains from the area.

Taborlupa was among four passengers reported missing after a vehicle fell from the Agana bridge on August 29. The incident left multiple occupants either dead or unaccounted for, prompting a search operation that extended across neighboring provinces.

The recovery of Taborlupa's body brings the death toll from the bridge collapse to at least one confirmed fatality. Rescue and recovery efforts continue as authorities work to locate the three remaining missing persons from the vehicle.
