TAGBILARAN CITY — Bohol's provincial government has moved to strengthen security measures at schools throughout the province in response to a shooting incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga University's junior high school campus in Zamboanga City on Tuesday.

Governor Erico Aristotle "Aris" Aumentado instructed the Bohol Provincial Police Office to heighten protective measures, directing Police Col. Patricio Degay Jr., the office's chief, to increase police visibility and implement tighter security protocols at educational institutions across Bohol.
