Bohol security guard found dead after dismissing workplace injury

PANGLAO, BOHOL — Authorities in Panglao discovered the body of Eulalio Abandingo Jr., 36, inside a guardhouse at a construction site in Barangay Lourdes on Tuesday morning. Barangay officials received notification of the discovery at approximately 7 a.m. The victim, a resident of Barangay Looc in the same municipality, had been working as a security guard at the facility.

Investigations revealed that Abandingo Jr. had sustained an injury while on duty the previous day but declined to seek medical attention at the time. The circumstances surrounding the nature and severity of the injury remain under investigation by local authorities.
