TAGBILARAN CITY — Bohol will welcome more than 200 candidates competing for admission to the Philippine National Police Academy when the province hosts the PNPACAT for the first time on October 25.
The examination will take place at Tagbilaran City College, following a request from Governor Aris Aumentado to bring the testing venue to the province. The move is expected to reduce travel expenses and logistical burdens for aspiring police officers across Bohol who previously had to travel to other examination centers.
The PNPACAT serves as the primary screening mechanism for candidates seeking admission to the country's premier police training institution. Success in the entrance examination is a critical step toward a career in the Philippine National Police, with candidates competing intensely for limited slots in each academy class.
Local officials have coordinated with the Philippine National Police Academy to ensure adequate facilities and proper examination administration at the designated venue. The hosting of the entrance examination underscores efforts to make civil service entrance procedures more accessible to provincial residents.
