PUTRAJAYA — The Home Ministry confirmed on October 29 that Shuhaily, the current chief of the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS), will be returning to the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) following a decision by the ministry.
Home Minister Datin Seri Saradindu Kazali announced that the redeployment has been approved, marking a shift in the senior officer's career trajectory after his tenure leading the border control agency.
While the ministry confirmed Shuhaily's return to the police force, his specific next posting has not yet been finalised. The Home Ministry stated that further details regarding his assignment will be determined and announced in due course.
The move comes as part of ongoing personnel management within Malaysia's security and enforcement agencies, reflecting the government's efforts to optimise leadership positions across different departments.
