Boyfriend arrested for aiding model's escape to Nepal border

Police in Lucknow have taken into custody the boyfriend of model Shraddha Dubey in connection with her attempted escape to the Nepal border. Investigators allege that the accused, identified as Aamir, played an active role in assisting Dubey's journey and equipped her with communication devices to evade detection.

According to law enforcement, Aamir provided Dubey with a mobile phone and a SIM card that had been registered using fraudulent identity documents. The assistance extended to helping her reach the Nepal border, marking a significant development in the case.

Lucknow police conducted an extensive investigation involving surveillance footage from approximately 200 CCTV cameras across multiple locations. The detailed analysis of recorded footage enabled investigators to trace Dubey's movements and eventually track the suspect to an apartment in Nagpur.

The case highlights the coordinated nature of the operation, with police establishing that Aamir's involvement was not incidental but deliberate and sustained throughout the process. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine additional details surrounding the circumstances that led to Dubey's attempted departure.
