Brazil leads India 2-0 at half-time in Kolkata friendly

Brazil moved to a 2-0 advantage over India at half-time in their international friendly match held in Kolkata on Wednesday. The South American side's clinical first-half performance gave them control of the encounter against their hosts. India will need to mount a significant second-half comeback to salvage a result from the fixture at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan stadium. The match provided both teams with an opportunity to test their preparations ahead of upcoming regional and international commitments. Brazil's attacking prowess was on display in the opening period, while India's defence struggled to contain the visitors' offensive movements.
