According to the groom, identified as Vinod, the bride disappeared with ornamental jewelry and cash shortly after the marriage was solemnized. The groom's family has approached authorities regarding the incident. The wedding arrangement, according to Vinod, was brokered through a priest at a temple in Rampur. As part of the marriage negotiations, the bride's mother had reportedly been given one lakh rupees in cash. The circumstances surrounding the bride's departure remain under investigation. Local police have registered details of the complaint and begun inquiries into the matter.
