Brigade Enterprises enters Coimbatore market with ₹600 crore housing project

Brigade Enterprises Ltd announced on Monday its foray into the Coimbatore housing market with the launch of its first residential project in the city. The Bengaluru-based developer will construct the 5.4-acre residential development through a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) and has set a total revenue potential target of ₹600 crore for the venture.

The move marks Brigade's strategic expansion into South India's secondary markets. Managing Director Pavitra Shankar cited Coimbatore's strong fundamentals as the rationale for the entry, pointing to the city's diversified economy, skilled workforce, developed social infrastructure, and robust pipeline of infrastructure investments slated for the region.

Brigade Enterprises sees accelerating demand for quality real estate in Coimbatore, which has emerged as an attractive destination for real estate developers in recent years. The company's entry into the market is positioned as part of its broader growth strategy across South India, leveraging its multi-domain development expertise to capitalize on the city's anticipated real estate transformation.
