BSE SME stocks surge to record highs amid strong rally

The BSE SME IPO index has staged a remarkable rally this year, approaching record highs as small and medium-sized enterprises continue to attract investor attention. Data shows that eighteen stocks within the index are currently trading at their peak levels, signalling sustained momentum in the segment.

Companies trading at record highs include Millworks Tech, Technocrafts Plasma, Admach Systems, Airflo Rail, Exato Tech, Susan Electricals and Tipco Engineering, among others. The diverse range of sectors represented by these firms—from manufacturing to engineering—indicates broad-based strength across the SME space.

The index itself has climbed 57 per cent since April, demonstrating the segment's ability to outpace broader market gains during this period. This performance has made the SME platform an increasingly attractive option for both retail and institutional investors seeking exposure to India's emerging entrepreneurial class.

The rally underscores growing market recognition of the SME segment's potential for growth and profitability. As these enterprises scale operations and improve operational efficiency, investor appetite for their equity offerings has remained robust, supporting the uptrend in valuations.
