BSF deploys at Delhi-Gurugram border as capital tightens security

Security forces have been mobilized across Delhi's key entry points and border areas in preparation for the opposition INDIA bloc's scheduled rally. The Border Security Force deployment at the Delhi-Gurugram border represents part of a broader security enhancement across the capital ahead of the significant political event.

Supporters of the opposition alliance have begun gathering at Ramlila Maidan in central Delhi, one of the capital's traditional venues for large public assemblies. Among those participating are members of the Socialist Youth Federation and other allied political and civil society organizations backing the INDIA bloc.

Authorities have implemented multi-layered security arrangements across the city, with additional personnel stationed at critical junctures and traffic management protocols activated. The measures aim to ensure public order and safety during the large-scale political congregation.

The INDIA bloc, comprising multiple opposition parties, has been organizing public mobilization events across the country. Delhi's status as the national capital has necessitated particularly stringent security protocols to manage the anticipated crowd and prevent any potential disruptions to normal civic life.
