BSP fields ex-BJP leader Jayswal as candidate for Mau seat

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has fielded Ajay Jayswal, a former BJP functionary, as its official candidate for the Ghosi Assembly seat in Mau district. Jayswal's candidature was formally announced by BSP's state in-charge Dinesh Chandra at a party workers' convention held in Kopaganj, following directions from party chief Mayawati.
