The viral DIY method combines discarded mobile phone chargers with inexpensive motorcycle indicator buzzers to create a functional alert system. The innovation appeals to budget-conscious households seeking to prevent water overflow and reduce wastage, a persistent concern across urban and semi-urban areas of India. The simplicity of the design has made it accessible to users with minimal technical knowledge, contributing to its widespread sharing across platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
