Bukidnon honors four centenarians with P50,000 cash assistance each

VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — The Bukidnon provincial government distributed P50,000 in cash assistance and food packs to four centenarians in Valencia City on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, as part of its support program for elderly residents.

Governor Rogelio Neil Roque personally handed over the assistance to the recipients, including Julia Lacre, 100, of Kibalaan. The cash incentives and food supplies aim to improve the living conditions of the province's oldest citizens.

With the addition of these four beneficiaries, the provincial government's centenarian assistance program now covers a total of 56 registered recipients across Bukidnon. The initiative reflects the provincial administration's commitment to providing welfare support to senior citizens who have reached the milestone age of 100 years and beyond.
