Calicut University to bestow honorary doctorates on October 6

Calicut University is set to honour distinguished individuals with honorary doctorates in a ceremony scheduled for October 6, the institution announced Friday. The conferment function will be presided over by University Chancellor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who also serves as Kerala's Governor, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P. Ravindran said at a press conference held at the university headquarters.

Pro-Chancellor Roji M. John, who holds the portfolio of Higher Education Minister, is also expected to attend the ceremony. The announcement comes as the university continues its tradition of recognising exceptional contributions across various fields through honorary doctorates.
