A couple in Camarines Sur is celebrating the arrival of quadruplets following a successful surgical delivery at Bicol Medical Center in Naga City on June 5. The four infant girls have joined an already bustling household that includes three older daughters, bringing the family's total to seven children.

The newborns were delivered via caesarean section to mother Joanna Lechago Reyes. The babies have been named Maria Dolores, Maria Evelyn, Maria Angela, and a fourth daughter whose name was not immediately disclosed in initial reports.

The arrival of quadruplets represents a remarkable occurrence for the family and community. Multiple births of this nature remain relatively uncommon, and the successful delivery of all four infants underscores advances in maternal and neonatal care available at the regional medical facility.

The expanded family, now comprising both parents and seven daughters, is adjusting to the demands of caring for newborn quadruplets while managing the needs of their older children. Reports did not indicate any complications from the delivery or the condition of the newborns.
