Police Staff Sergeant Noli M. Miraña received the Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting, or Medal of Valor, during a ceremony in Ligao City. The injury occurred during a confrontation with a bolo-wielding assailant, highlighting the inherent dangers law enforcement personnel face in the line of duty.
PBGen Ronaldo Fulo, deputy regional director for administration, presented the prestigious award and accompanying financial assistance to Miraña.
